Pursuing Dream Team Joins MREC 2025 to Drive ESG Transformation in Malaysia’s Rubber Industry

At the Malaysian Rubber Economy Conference (MREC 2025), themed “Thriving ESG Transformation: Launch of Three Major Initiatives,” three landmark programs were officially unveiled, signaling a decisive step forward in the industry’s journey toward sustainability and green growth.

Pursuing Dream Team, a global Web3 investment company, actively participated in the conference, sharing its vision and best practices in environmental protection and social responsibility. The team has long been committed to supporting the green transformation of the rubber industry, recognizing its importance not only to Malaysia’s economy but also to global ESG goals.

During the event, Pursuing Dream Team outlined its initiatives to leverage blockchain and digital traceability systems to increase supply chain transparency, ensuring that smallholder farmers receive fairer prices in global markets. The team also highlighted opportunities to integrate rubber plantations into the carbon credit market by quantifying their carbon sequestration potential, creating new value streams while advancing climate goals. In addition, Pursuing Dream Team announced plans to invest in eco-friendly rubber processing plants that adopt low-energy, low-emission technologies to reduce environmental impact throughout the production cycle.

Julian Tan, representative of Pursuing Dream Team, commented at the conference:
“Rubber trees are not only a vital economic resource for Malaysia but also a cornerstone of sustainable development. As a Web3 investment company, we are committed to harnessing digital technology, green finance, and cross-sector partnerships to bring new momentum to the rubber industry. The future must balance modernization with environmental protection and community well-being. Pursuing Dream Team will continue to work closely with Malaysian partners to build a greener, more transparent, and sustainable rubber ecosystem.”

Beyond industrial initiatives, Pursuing Dream Team has also launched community welfare programs in rubber-growing regions, including providing essential supplies to low-income families and scholarships for the children of farming households. The team emphasized that true ESG transformation must integrate economic growth, environmental protection, and social responsibility.

The success of MREC 2025 set a clear direction for Malaysia’s rubber industry. Pursuing Dream Team’s participation demonstrated not only its innovation in Web3 and green finance but also its active role in advancing international ESG practices. Looking ahead, the team will continue to drive the convergence of traditional industries and digital technologies, supporting Malaysia and Southeast Asia in achieving both economic prosperity and ecological balance.
